Yuval Ben-Itzhak – Evolution

Yuval is a Partner at Evolution Equity Partners and leads investments in cybersecurity, enterprise software, cloud, and analytics.

Prior to joining Evolution, Yuval was the Chief Executive Officer of Socialbakers, a $50m ARR SaaS business acquired in 2020. Before Socialbakers, Yuval served as the Chief Technology Officer of Outbrain (NYSE: OB), the leading content discovery platform. Before that, Yuval served as the Chief Technology Officer of AVG Technologies (NYSE: AVG), where he played a crucial role in the company’s IPO.

Before joining AVG, Yuval was the Chief Technology Officer of the cybersecurity company Finjan (acquired by M86 in 2009). He is the listed inventor of the web-application firewall and the co-founder of KaVaDo (acquired by Protegrity in 2004). Yuval has been selected as the 25 most influencing CTO by InfoWorld, 40 Innovative IT People To Watch by Computerworld, and Chief Technology Officer of the Year by GeekTime in 2017.

Yuval is a graduate of the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel and an inventor of 26 U.S. granted patents.
